I am fortunate to have engaged the services of Javier and movetosevilla.com. I visited Sevilla for two weeks, but was able to rent a very nice apartment in Triana within the first few days despite the fact that the long-term rental market in Sevilla is very tight. Without his services, and my limited Spanis h language skills and knowledge of the local real estate market, it would have been a very daunting & frustrating experience. We couldn’t be happier with the services provided by Javier Orquin and his company! He is knowledgeable about everything in the city. When we started looking we had no idea what areas were good for day to day living. He found a perfect apartment for us in a great neighborhood. He took care of everything to get us set up since our Spanish is pretty much nonexistent at this point! He knows who to contact to get things done, helping us with Spanish immigration and really just about everything else. We could not have made such a successful move without his help. We had come to Sevilla a few years earlier and did some research on moving....let's just say we found that the process was very confusing to us, even though my husband spoke and understood Spanish pretty well. We came back to Sevilla in September intending to stay for at least a year. We found Move to Sevilla and Javier! He was able to help us through all the details, assisting with apartment search, landlord negotiations, Bank account, NIE, registering with the city, Cable/Internet…and even recommended a Spanish Language teacher! We had some hurdles and special circumstances that Javier was persistent and successful in getting it all done. aaron w. 17 august 2018, 7:02 pmI was so excited to move to Sevilla, but was slightly daunted by the idea of arranging everything myself, particularly with my lack of Spanish and understanding of the local ways. Thank god for Javier! He is a must! Sevilla is beautiful and amazing, however, no one speaks english (even in the foreign office!) and the bureacracy is overwhelming. Javier's perfect english, his systematic approach and his knowledge on everything from the public health system to where to find the best tapas made the transition seamless. A friend told me about this service and hiring Move To Sevilla made the transition a smooth one.
